NAREDCO MAHI will focus on access for women entrepreneurs to a world of opportunities, direct interaction with policy makers, networking with large companies in the Indian real estate sector and strong links with government.
“Now you bring in new strength, it will increase your strength by two. All initiatives under the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs focus on empowering women, ”said Durga Shanker Mishra, Secretary of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs.
NAREDCO MAHI aims to create an environment where women in the real estate industry can come together, share experiences, harness their skills, leverage their resources, influence, grow and bring about lasting change.
“Better diversity and gender representation would not only open up more opportunities for Indian women, but also accelerate the growth momentum of our great country and help achieve the goal of an Atmanirbhar Bharat,” said Tara Subramaniam, Founding President by NAREDCO MAHI.
NAREDCO MAHI will ensure the active engagement of members with other stakeholders in the sector and work towards the development and growth of the sector, giving due recognition to the contribution of women in India’s real estate journey.
“We will strive to mobilize the power of women at NAREDCO MAHI this year and increase the visibility of the organization,” said Rajan Bandelkar, President of NAREDCO India.
The activities of the newly formed wing would range from mentoring, networking and access to capital for women entrepreneurs to inspiring talks from women in the real estate industry and their backgrounds.
Members of NAREDCO MAHI will have access to exclusive training programs and opportunities to hone their presentation and business skills, while enjoying excellent networking opportunities.
